Reflexology in Poole

Taking the first step towards better health can feel daunting. You might not be sure what to expect, or whether reflexology is right for you. That's completely normal. This page will walk you through what I offer and how we'll work together.

Your Initial Consultation

Your first session is different. We'll spend 90 minutes together. The first half hour is just us discussing your health history, what's brought you here, and what you're hoping to achieve. Then we'll move into a full hour of reflexology treatment, so you can experience what it feels like and how your body responds.

This extended session is charged at the standard 60-minute rate. It's my way of giving you space to settle in without watching the clock.

Types of Reflexology I Offer

Foot Reflexology

This is where most people start, and for good reason. The feet contain thousands of nerve endings and reflex points that correspond to your entire body. By working systematically across the feet, we can help to support circulation, ease tension and encourage your body's natural healing processes. It's comprehensive, deeply relaxing, and remarkably effective for a wide range of conditions.

Hand Reflexology

Your hands are just as mapped with reflex points as your feet. Hand reflexology is particularly beneficial if you work at a computer, do manual labour, or carry tension in your upper body. It's also ideal if you'd prefer to stay clothed or have any reason not to have your feet worked on. The treatment can be every bit as therapeutic.

Facial Reflexology

A gentler approach that works with reflex points on your face and head. It's wonderful for headaches, sinus problems, TMJ tension and mental clarity. Many people find it helps with sleep quality too. There's normally a naturally rejuvenating effect from the increased circulation and lymphatic drainage.

Crystal Reflexology

Crystals aren't just pretty stones. When used alongside reflexology, they can work on both physical and energetic levels. Different crystals have different properties, and I'll select ones that support your specific needs. It adds another dimension to the treatment, particularly for people who feel drawn to energy work.

Aromatic Reflexology

Essential oils have been used therapeutically for thousands of years. When combined with reflexology, they enhance the treatment's effects while supporting emotional wellbeing. The oils are carefully selected based on what you need, whether that's calming lavender, uplifting citrus, or grounding frankincense. It creates a deeper sensory experience that many people find transformative.

How I Work With You

This isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. Every session is built around you.

After our initial consultation, I'll have a clear picture of your health concerns and what you're hoping to achieve. We'll set objectives together. Maybe you want better sleep, or less pain, or support through a particular health challenge. Those aims become our roadmap.

Each treatment is tailored to those goals. I'm not just working through a routine. I'm responding to what your body needs that day, what's changed since we last met, and where we need to focus.

After each session, I'll follow up with you within 48 hours. I'll check how you're feeling, offer any aftercare advice specific to your treatment, and answer questions that might have come up. It's a personalised service.

Between sessions, I reflect on what worked, what your body responded to, and what we should explore next time. Each appointment builds on the last. Progress often happens within four to six weeks, though everyone's timeline is different.

What I Can Help With

Reflexology supports your body through all kinds of challenges. Some people come with specific conditions. Sleep problems that have dragged on for months. IBS that disrupts their life. Chronic pain in their hips, back or joints. Kidney issues, autoimmune conditions, diabetes. Others come because they're exhausted, stressed, or just know something isn't right.

Women's Health

Hormonal transitions like perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause can be brutal. Hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, brain fog, crushing fatigue. Polycystic ovary syndrome adds another layer of hormonal chaos. Reflexology helps ease these transitions by supporting your body as it adjusts, reducing symptoms and bringing back some sense of balance.

Coming Soon!

Fertility and Maternity

If you're trying to conceive, reflexology can support reproductive health and help manage the emotional toll of that journey. During pregnancy, it offers relief from nausea, back pain, swelling and anxiety. Postpartum, it supports recovery and hormonal rebalancing when your body's been through something extraordinary.

Stress

Stress might not sound like a health condition, but chronic stress is behind so many problems. Poor sleep, weakened immunity, digestive issues, pain, difficulty concentrating. It's insidious. Reflexology gives your nervous system permission to ease, even if just for an hour. That reset matters more than you might think.
